S-LEAGUE TO HELP GIRL WITH CANCER
TAMPINES Rovers will be donating their gate
proceeds of Sunday's 7.45pm S-League match
against Geylang United at Tampines Stadium
to four-year-old Charmaine Lim, who is
battling a rare form of cancer.
In addition, there will be a 5pm curtain-raiser
match featuring players from the 1990s
Singapore Dream Team playing against a
Media and Celebrities selection side.
Admission fee for the two matches is $10. -

From our little effort in this forum, pledged plus donated, we raised $2520 for Charmaine so far. Kudos to all :celebrate:
I do not think there will be large corporations pledging their support in such instances as most will not want to be seen having such a precedent of helping at the individual level, as they would be fearful of having 2nd, 3rd, 4th Charmaines knocking on their door. So it is certainly great to see Tampines Rovers pledging their assistance in such a way
If we do the maths... Charmaine only needs 500,000 to just donate $1 or 50,000 to donate $10 or 5,000 to donate $100 ... This seems possible and achievable, but this would also need the 500,000 who feel compelled to do something to also act by donating the $1 in order to realise Charmaine's dream.
So if after learning about Charmaine's story and you are touched by it.... Pls continue to go that one step further to donate that \"one dollar\" because you may just be the one to make that difference

Hi dear all kiasu parents, the match held yesterday at Tampinese stadium was great ! I was touched to see many peoples turn up for the events, kids, teenages, adults. It was an enjoyable match by the ex-lions with the all stars. Here is the report from channel news asia.
