Perhaps you can try to view the 180 series next to Bukit Panjang Plaza, it is convenient (near BPP,LRT, Ten Mile Junction) and new (7 yrs).

hokkienmee, u still on maternity leave? noticed your BB born May09..

I stay at Bt Panjang (commutes daily to Jurong East cos parents stay there, daughter studies childcare there). Actually I stay near the plaza, 160 series, walking distance to Plaza..people say Bt Panjang ulu but I find it so far so good. Direct bus to orchard/shenton etc & with new MRT coming to this area...I pretty love this place :love:

180 series' price and floor area is comparable to Bukit Batok's Goodview and for that price, i'll rather choose Goodview for its convenience.

160 series is pretty good; not too old, although same price as 180 series but is the 4rm is bigger in area. Only thing is that there aren't many sellers for this series of flats.

Read from papers that HDB going to roll out 8000 more new flats; with 1300 already launched in sengkang/woodlands/yishun and 2400 schedule to be launched in Punggol, i am that there will be some to be launched in Bukit Panjang near to Segar Area.

Think we stay very near each other. I am staying at the 180 series, also opposite BPP. Found this place super convenient, got almost everything and going to have MST and sports complex in a few years time. Yippee!!

Yes, 180 series floor area quite small. My 5-room only 111m2, and the living room is very small. But master bedroom almost as big as living room.
