[quote="Lingz"]To kiasu mummy: What is the curriculum for Playgroup 1 toddlers in Little Wonders Montessoi at Westwood Crescent? So you think the teachers there are patient and caring? I am thinking of enrolling my child there but have some reservations. I last heard the class size is 12 students which I thought is pretty big.
Hi Lingz,
You might want to check with Little Wonders about the PG1 as my daughter was in N1 when they took over the school.
The teachers are caring and welcoming. Particularly in the morning when the kids were at the doorstep, they normally have a specific teacher who welcome the kids. But even when that teacher is not at the entrance, any other teachers who come by were welcoming.
My daughter’s class is approximately 11. From the class photos teachers showed, there are normally 2 teachers. 1 main and the other to help. -
Hi All
I just shifted to Jurong West (near Gek Poh) and am looking for a playgroup for my 18 months boy. Prefer a 3/4 hours class as i have my MIL as the caregiver.
Enquired with Kidzone but is full for the year with about 70 waitlist.
Would like to find out if there are other schools that offer a few hours playgroup for 18 months? -

There's also MMI, but I think their Tues Thurs slot is full, only the Mon Wed slot. I am also looking around but my dd has some time to go before she hits 18mth. So I'm just browsing. If you find anything good, please post here too! -

Hi, you may like to call up the above centre - they have Montessori Program cater for children between 2 to 3 years old. -
Hi,
How is this Tara? Full day childcare? What's the monthly fees like?
What's your feedback after your visit?kabalevsky:

no it is a playgroup, for 18mth to 3yrs old. Not childcare. only 2hrs per day, 5 days a week. 1 month $220.
I find the teachers patient and friendly. They were open to letting me observe with dd. I was able to sit, observe or join in and they allowed me to view all the facilities. I have gone to centers that refused parents who want to tour the place or sit in to observe. I guess this tells me they have nothing to hide.
I like that the whole place has glass viewers so I can peek in on my child anytime.
It is spacious, cheery, and most of all I love the portrait painting \"easels\". Don't know how to describe those. I think you really have to go down to take a look yourself!
I went when they just opened the school for a week, and recently when I went to have another look (cos I'm still waiting for dd to be 18mth), they now have many more kids enrolled so they opened an afternoon class as well already.
