Chair is for the back. Ok, the backbone is connected to the neck 🙂 I do agree the chair is more important than the table.

My view is that both are important - the desk needs to be tilted, so that the chair could be aligned to support the neck for the kid to be comfortably resting his neck to do his work on the desk.

I wonder why are these ergonomic desk so expensive...is it the design, or the material, or ... :?

is there a lobang for such items

For Kinderfun, wait for mid-year or year-end school holidays.

          They usually have discount then.

ds is using KinderFun table+chair set. We bought 6 years ago and the design is already dis-countinued. The tilted table, takes a bit of getting use to as books/papers tend to slide off it.

Anything else you want to know ?

I thot there is a small bar at the side of table to stop papers from sliding off. is it only for the new model? so far, I view those from internet. I plan to visit the showroom to have a close look at the \"real\" stuff.

Do you observe that it helps your child in maintaining good posture? My dd complaint of neck pain sometimes. does your child complain too? was it the reason you bought the set? how much did you pay ? sorry to have so many questions in one go...

That’s one of the reasons why we din get the table. Its difficult to write with a tilted table. But for reading, I think its good

It is not difficult for ds to write on it, just that books/papers tend to slide but we got use to putting them away once done.

Small bar - I think it is an add-on but we don’t have it.

good posture - he still needs to be reminded to keep 30cm away from the written work/book but he doesn’t complain of neck pain. The height of both chair and table are adjustable so we adjust them as he grows.

reason for buying - ds is easily distracted so I want a dedicated area for him to do his school work. Decided to get so-called ergonomics design that should see him through to Secondary school as he was only in K2 then.

We bought in year 2005, paid S$999 for table+chair. CrossCom was all the rage then (probably still is?) but cost 4 times as much.
