I went to Cenosis after the birth of my 2nd child. I lost 12 kg and it cost around $4k+. I still have 9 sessions with them as after the birth of my 3rd child I went back briefly. I hesitated to go back due to my busy schedule and also I don’t like sales talk to take on more package, etc…

I think I was able to lose the weight because of the diet. I ate little rice (eg. at most 1 bowl per week). Went for white noodles all the time and no fried food. Didn’t indulge, etc… I believed if everyone follow such diet, it’s not difficult to lose weight on their own. But the issue is that is it sustainable for someone who enjoys food???

They do have wraps and equipment and it does help to tone down specific parts of body eg. arms, etc… I recalled that I was so on the ball that every nite I would use our home massager to massage the problem areas.

They do not really encourage exercise as it builds muscles and they said it’s more difficult for the machine to break that down.

Just to add, I suppose with slimming centre, someone is monitoring your weight and measurement on a weekly basis. So you feel more conscious about what you eat.

I am so surprised that even the sensible of the sensible get fascinated by the \"magic\" slimming ads. You just need to flip through the \"Today\" to see numerous ads for slimming/trimming/enhancing/glowing all in a few minutes/hours or days! At a price ofcourse! Its mostly targeted at the working woman with dispensable cash. And I am not surprised that Truespa got away with $33m on un-served packages?!

I guess it’s our impatience to see quick results that’s causing these game survivors. If only we stick to the proven routine of exercise and diet control. Comments?

Haha, agree. A lot of people believes ads a lot, reagrdless of what product. In fact, the MLM company that I just joined recently is going to launch a slimming product too. Reason - so many slimming ads everyday and slimming center is earning so much, so in Singapore there is a great potential for slimming product. Now my upline is asking if I want to try during their pre-launch.

What she told me is, other than taking the slimming product, must also follow their strict diet and exercise etc etc, if not the result is not very good. At the start, she did not follow the diet and exercise, she only lose about 3 kg. But when she starts to follow the instruction, she slims down quite a lot.

But the price is really steep. I will still try the Lacto Fibre (which is more affordable) and see how is the result, since it not only cleanse the digestive system, it also can help to curb hunger strike. I think that is what I want since I just need to shed off a few more kilo. 🙏

actually, when you diet and exercise regularly, you will lose weight. You dont' need all the expensive pills from any MLM company.
That is just like saying I can make delicious soup with just water and stone. However, to make it taste better, you need to add in chicken, onions, potatoes, carrots, sweet corn and some pork ribs.

Diet is very important, eat plenty of fibres, drink plenty of water and exercise to get your heart up to 80% of it's max rate.

When you really follow a strict diet and exercise regime, there is absolutely no need for any slimming pills. hmm.... maybe I should start selling slimming products 🙂

yeah, that is quite normal. Weight loss is an ongoing thing. You have to exercise and diet on a regular basis. Even if you're super fit, and you lay off the exercise for a year, you'll still gain weight.
When you're young, the body has a higher metabolic rate and burns fat faster. As you enter into your 30s, your metabolic rate slows down and you need to do more exercise to burn the same amount of food you take in, compared to when you're in your teens.

Agree totally with cimman. Diet and exercise is the key. It's all about the mind and determination.

Take the slimming pills and maintain your current lifestyle -- the weight drop probably will be little unless you are grossly overweight and hence will lose more in absolute KGs. In fact, I believe the body will slowly adjust and the slimming pill will get less effective as time passes.
However, once you start to change your diet and exercise, the effect becomes significant.....problem is, a lot of people will attribute it to the slimming pills/centre, which I think may only be contributing 20% to the weight lost. Personally, I had some ex-colleagues who went into selling slimming pills.....why it seemed soooooo effective was because they started drinking only plain water, skip lunch or would just take an apple or a piece of plain bread for dinner. Gosh, I call that torture and unhealthy

I tried Marie France after Dd1 and lost only about 1kg. I didnt complete the course bcos planning for no 2. Somehow, I think I lost weight bcos I began conscious of wat I eat and not bcos of the treatment. Still bf-ing now. Will complete the remaining of my pkg after I stop bf-ing.

Once the fat cells multiply, u cnt get rid of it..can only reduce the size tru excercise therfore once u stop, u gain bac cos the small fat cells becomes fat fat cells..lol...tats why surgery its effect. but not advisable 🙂
