I managed to register my girl under phase 2A2 but we stay quite far away from the school. around 15 to 20mins drive. not sure is there school bus for my area? should I change school in Dec'09?

you should be able to check with the school for their school buses' routes. some schools even published them on their website.

We are in the same boat..... Just cannot bring myself to settle for just any school. I have mentioned before that all the schs I want are outside 2km. Only Princess E is 1-2km. What abt you? I live in Bkt Btk. Yrself?

I added up the number of kids registered as of 2A2 and found it to be 18565. Birth rate for 2003 was 37485…Just hoping that there wont be tough competition for 2C outside 2km! Any views?

Hi baby2momma, we r in the same boat! :faint: so stress with this registration process that i can't sleep for the past weeks since it started. Especially looking at no.s of vacancy dropping at each phase really stressful.

Hi hi Little_Princesses_LnK.... nope, i don't live in bukit batok but live in cck which also has high no. of children trying to get into 'non-branded but more popular' schools coz of the many many no. of young couples who start up their family in newer estates like cck...... and hence the reason why balloting is constantly quite a requirement for the few more popular schools....sigh. :x

Any views?[/quote]No, I think it is more likely dependent on individual schools....I thought of that too but if I analyse it together with the schools past year trend, the analysis of less birth rate in 2003 vs less competition for 2C/out 2km does not mix.....I juz feel that reducing the intake this year has made competition more stiff......or shld i say balloting more 'intensive'??

Hi dreamom, u can say that again about hving endless stress...i really even had nightmares....and i sorta passed on the nightmare to my hubby who asked me stop 'scaring' him with the no. of vacancies left for our school of choice.....

Yes. consider \"branded\" school (Red swastika School) in bedok but I'm staying at Hougang. I didn't want to give up the chance phase 2A2. worried that phase 2C need to ballot at neighbourhood school.
