I really hope so they can tell. Been freaking stressed today cos I registered under 2A2 earlier, but the sch is 45min away by car (yes am not kidding). We PV for a nearby sch but stats now shows chances not high. So I am still trying to decide if I should withdraw from earlier sch and register at PV sch assuming they tell me there is a chance to ballot?


But problem is the sch cant even tell me got chance ballot or not! If withdraw no chance to even ballot how?

i'm sure there are others in your shoe.

which sch did you PV for?

Its one of the 8 schs listed somewhere in this forum this evening.

Chief, my PV sch is 2.2km, so its still out of 2km.

I'm not kidding but i can't eat, can't sleep since the start of registration!

I am watching Nat Geo channel right now, this guy is travelling through some of our less developed neighbours, and small kids are jumping into polluted rivers, happy as clams. I don't think their parents are too concerned about whether the school they did PV is going to have a ballot .

Chill my fren, whatever the outcome, your child will have a good P school education and even if the travel time ends up long, its only for 6 years max, life will go on.

No concern, just wondering where are the rest of the childrens are
or rather the vacancy vs the numbers of places taken end of the day

2B are still subject to conditions (PV, Com leader, clan) and is therefore naturally limited, 2C is free for all, that's where the rest will come forth.

I’m trying to get my daughter into a popular pri sch that’s 3km away from my home. To increase the chances, I’m hoping to register under 2A2 (parents who were ex-students of the school), but as I only attended 2 years of primary school in that school before transferring to another school, do you know if I would still qualify to register under that phase?

From what we understand, even partial stay at a Primary school will give you Phase 2A2 status. Best you call up and check with the school in question.

Phase 2B end of day 1 results already released on MOE website. Following schools confirmed balloting required

Aitong
Catholic
MGS
ACS Junior
Southview Primary
ACS
St Hilda's

you missed out Tao Nan

Hee, these 8 schools were in my 'prediction' list. That said, I would believe schools with only a few places left like StNick, Temasek, MahaBohdi, CHIJ(TPY) and PCPS (which didnt ballot last year) should still join the balloting list this year after registration closes today.

Compared to the 19 schools which balloted under 2B last year, I think DLS, CHIJ(Katong), HIPS and NHPS may escape balloting for 2B this year. (Note schools like HPPS, NYPS and RGPS didnt ballot under 2B last year).
