      hi Tinktank

I thot your child already registering for RMPS this year ? why should you join SHHK for your next child ?

Your next child can be in Phase 1 in RMPS. Easier rite ? no need to ballot or do PV or join SHHK and go through the stress again.

      Just wondering ... :?

Oh thinking of joing SHHK so that can be in Phase 2B for my next child or if not perform PV again. ๐Ÿ˜›

So SHHK to give letter for Phase 2B is subjective?
Yes, so in order to increase ur chance of gettting that letter, do join early and be as active as possible.

Just preliminary planning cos worried the 2 child in same school would fight. Maybe as a standby. Also if RMPS performance no good then I can let the 2nd child try other schools.

                    Hi Titank,

We also have the same thot for our 3rd child. If we should send her to a school that is diff from her siblings.

Here are the pros of putting the kids in the same school :
                    * They get in via phase 1 so there is no fuss on P1 registration. Imagine trying another school (potentially a popular school), your resource is diverted and you wonder if it is really worth all that effort at the end of the day especially if the current school is not bad.
                    * You are already familiar with the school system
                    * Better still you are familiar with how the school set their test, etc.. so you know how to prepare the younger and s
                    * Hand me down of some books that is unique to the school (eg. in our case, we've religious books that we do not need to buy again).
                    * The older kid having gone through some of the stuff can share their experience with the younger ones.
                    * If they are in the same session, there is synergy eg. driving them to school together iso having to send the kids to diff school

and the list goes on

I believe cut-off years vary for different SHHK schools. So far I know of someone whom was not recommended for Tao Nan though SHHK member for 2 years.

:? Wonder what is SHHK's basis for recommendation. I also know of someone who has been a SHHK member for 2 years, and he was recommended for Tao Nan.

May I know if anyone know the minimum membership tenure cut-off for Ai Tong and TNS for this year SHHK recommendation?
