I started the "ji Chu Han Zi" with my DD for 1 week plus, one lesson daily. she now can recognise and read one whole sentences with the individual words we learnt daily. not bad really. shall continue with her. Thanks for the recommendation

i let my girl to recite the sanzijing too, just to get her to familiar with chinese words pronunciation, we have done this for awhile, she can recite and remember for many pages..i get the english meaning from here.

I ordered at dangdang.com and goods sent from beijing on 8 March. Then I checked my status today and it indicated on dangdang.com that on 7 May, the goods are delivered and received. But I had not received anything. I only have the article number.

Do you know what I can do about it? I sent dangdang.com an email for explanation already Anyway to check and retrieve the goods in Singapore?

You can copy the parcel number from your order, then go to
http://www.singpost.com/

Click Track and Trace Registered Article and paste the parcel number, then click Track.

If it does not show any information, that means the article did not arrive in Singapore. You can try to demand for a refund from dangdang, but unfortunately they will take a very long time to investigate.

Looks like dangdang direct shipping is very unreliable now :sad:

thanks! I searched on singpost and there was no record. On China post mail checking, it only indicated sent out from china in March. So now, I will send email to dangdang to investigate… dunno whether to re-order via daigou in the meantime.

I just ordered using daigou and it arrive 1 week+ later. So much faster. I will definitely use them more often.

Hi poohy,

I encountered a similar situation with a recent parcel. At 8 weeks it was shown as delivered, but I received it only after about 10 weeks. You may still receive your parcel.

Otherwise, you can only wait.

Yes seems like daigou is more reliable though I have not used them before.

I do advise other parents to dispute the transaction with the credit card bank if you do not receive your books after 7 weeks, better be safe than sorry.

Good news, just check signpost.com website regarding my items, it shows that \"Item received at registered mail section on 12 may 2011\". Hopefully will be receiving the items today or by next week.
