Thanks for the reply, Mr. Alvin Chong. Can I also check with you are we meeting the form teacher only? Do we get to talk with the Chinese teacher too?

Erm depends on the Chinese Teacher. In Pei Chun, Each CL teacher teaches 2-3 different classes and the classes can be from the different levels. Thus the question if the CL teacher will be there will depend on if the CL teacher is stationed at the particular class. Priority is usually given to the higher levels.

        hi parents,

we will be putting our first born in P1 soon and Pei Chun is one of our favourite choice. our house is about 1-2km away from the school, do all of you think we stand a chance to get in under the present scheme?

          Hi
Not to discourage but taking my case for instance where I register last year under 2C, I had to go through balloting even though I stay within 1km. Not to mention those beyond 1km.

Just came back from the MTP session. I must say its a fruitful session with the FT although the 10 min is simply toooo short. Most parents took longer than the allocated time and I can understand that. Poor FT has to speak to 30 students must be really tiring…

After this MTP session, I am going to get my girl to buy a lock and use the lockers allocated outside the classrooms… her bag is getting heavier!! Actually I realize that although the main concern is academic performance but I feel happier when the FT comments about my girl’s reliability in handling task given to her and that she is a responsible Group Leader.

            Happy School Holidays!!

Besides the fact that you are within 2km from school, are you or spouse from Pei Chun? You may wish to check with the school the exact distance of your home from school because it makes a lot of difference....

I was within 1km and had to ballot. Those outside 2km I think they don’t allow for balloting if there are more in the 1km than the spaces left in phase 2C

May I know when your child will be registering for P1? I think PV will help to a certain extent... but I heard there were also ballots for PV within 2 km... Do take note of closing dates for PV...

Also depends on which year. Like the year of the dragon, erm usually it's harder.

My girl attended the 2.5 days Maths and Science Camp organized by Kingsfield Education Centre Centre Pte Ltd.

My girl enjoyed herself and had quite some fun. They learn about dinosaurs and volcano eruptions, money and colour changing. There were quite a lot of students who joined the camp but luckily everything was quite organized. The excursion was also quite well organized… my girl came back with some guppies and a bottle of fresh goat milk…

I am glad I have signed her up for this camp.
