My DS started with NAFA since he was 5 and this is his fourth year. His interest in arts has grown tremendously. I must say many of the art teachers are very qualified and they have been with NAFA for many years and highly regarded. DS art teacher last year was in headlines cos she painted one of the NEL train station.

for the P2s, the school will be doing a bulk purchase for the social study textbooks...

And I have been receiving regular updates from my girl's FT this week on the happenings in class... am very happy with such interaction although I sympathize with the FT... quite tedious and tiring to provide such regular updates hence really appreciate the effort... Last year never had such emails at all... Wonder is it because of a change in principle....

Hi Callie Tan,
So gd of ur dd's FT to do updates of wat they hv been doing.
My dd gets bk her FT fr last Yr , so dnt think I will get updates fr her at all since none was done last Yr. Even my dd student bk was nt often updated. Only tells me verbally.
Its the individual's practice, definitely not from the principal... my son's FT started daily emails to parents since he's in P1 last year. She's awesome! Of course am glad he still sticks to the same FT this year again 😄

Hi, any parents know wat's the prize - giving day next thurs is about.

Is it base on the child's results?

think those A* students will be awarded... for gathering a certain number of chops from teachers for good behaviour etc...

i understood there'll be different category of prizes given away on that day besides those qualified for A* trips, including achievement certificates for outstanding results.

Hi Marmum,

The students will leave their bags in school before they depart for the play. There will be some info which the teacher will hand out, maybe you'll be getting it today. Do bring along a cardigan or sweater for your child to keep warm. My boy was frozen cos he forgot to bring his. More pocket money if child needs to settle lunch in school.
Hi Aggie,

Thanks for the info. So your child went to the play already? Guess, should let my child pack a small bag to bring a sweater and water bottle along. What time did they return to school?

Many Thanks, Marmum
Hi Marmum,
Yes my boy went for the play and he loved it! Maybe you can also pack a little snack for him to carry along too with the water and sweater 🙂 They are scheduled to return to school by 1130 as some staying nearby may want to go home for lunch before they return for the day's session. If too rush, they will then have to spend eating at the canteen.

Hi, any of your kids gg for the Rainbow Fish show on 2nd August?

Yes, my chid going too. Am wondering if the teachers would keep their school bags for them while they go for the play??? Are there any such arrangements? The children would leave at 9am and return to school at 11.30am, right?

hi parents,

we will be putting our first born in P1 soon and Pei Chun is one of our favourite choice. our house is about 1-2km away from the school, do all of you think we stand a chance to get in under the present scheme?
Hi
Not to discourage but taking my case for instance where I register last year under 2C, I had to go through balloting even though I stay within 1km. Not to mention those beyond 1km.
