[Moderator's note: Topics merged.]
The week has arrived for me to apply for my kids pri 1 education. Trying out Nan Chiau and if not successful, Anchorgreen primary school. i am happy with both and would like to go with that order base on location. I am happy today for signing up my girl and boy at Zhi Ying, Hougang. Girl loved it and boy...not resistant. He's three anyway and a slow to warm up person. -
wow…compassvale pr school still got 84 place for 2c…do u all think chance very high for <1km

Hi education,
Same strategy as me. Nan Chiau left 72 places. if i fail, will go AnchorGreen, hope no need ballot there at phase 2C supp.
BTW, what is Zhi Ying ?

Based on past data, 200+ applicants will be applying for these 72 places (>300% TUR). 33% chance only.
Wish us good luck. -
my ds and i really hope my little gal can go in for compassvale pr school for 2c…i like Nan Chiau Primary School but will be in 1-2km so dun want to take the risk…so do u think 84 place got hight chance…couse last yr they ballot for <1km sooooo worrid everyday
-
Statistically, NCPS only conducts balloting for those within 1 KM for phase 2C, and the supply vs demand is about 1:3; so with 72 vacancies left, unless you stay within 1km, don’t waste time.

Anyone able to share the experiences of kids in seng kang pri schools especially compassvale pri, sengkang and north vista as these are the 3 schs that I am targeting.
-
One more daddy who has priority 1 and 2 as NQ, and AG

..this school is hot... -
my one concern on NanChiau is dont know their English strong or not. They dont say much in their website.
Anyone has decided to go North Vista ? May i know the determining factors ?
