I think same scenario when I'm making a decision when deciding between RVPS & RMPS in Phase 2B. Already almost lock the target to apply RVPS in the end go for RMPS.

I just want to assume there is sufficient \"Education Infrastructure\" & \"Transport Infrastructure\" where next time my kid can be independent take SBS bus home. If reqd to fetch by my parents also not that troublesome. Primary school is for 6 years, need to have very detail evaluation.

Hi… correct me if I am wrong. Most parents would prefer ZDPS than GESPS. I thought both school’s are about the same standards?

I think ZDPS is higher than GESPS. it seem ZDPS is slowly catching up in Bt Merah area.

I have already registered my girl to CHIJ (Kellock) in Phase 2A. However, I am living in Ang Mo Kio and I think the school is a bit far. I am considering whether to try for CHIJ (Lady of Good Counsel) in Seragoon in Phase 2C. I do not know the chance of enrolling my girl there.

Any advise?

Is CHIJ (Lady of Good Counsel) better or worst than CHIJ (Kellock)?

Since you decided on RM, then go register on 29 July 09 & wait for the results then. This time round it maybe 1km or 1-2km have balloting I guess.

Suggest you monitor closely of RMPS before you decide to register RMPS on 31 July 09. If there is chance of balloting then have to see what's is your probability. If really low, it maybe wise to try ZDPS where 1Km really do have good chance.

Imagine if you fail in RMPS balloting, then you have to fight again in GESPS in Phase 2C supplementary. I do understand that GESPS have balloting in Phase 2C supplementary.

Let's say you are really no luck, then you have to join in Phase 3 where it is 1st come 1st serve . At that time, most schools would have fill up by now. lookng at our area I do hope schools like Blangah Rise, Queesntown, New Town, Stanford still have places.

Sorry I'm just assuming the worst scenario for your case, who knows you maybe lucky where can enter RMPS & our kids maybe can be classmates.

Thank you very much for your detailed advise Titank, really appreciate it. I guess it’s no use rushing through my decision at this moment, I’ll monitor the vacanies for both RMPS and ZDPS then proceed from there. Sorry more questions, I read from the previous threads and also your advise that it is better to go on the last day, why is that so? If I go on the 2nd day, I guess no difference as it’s not 1st come 1st serve, right?
