Hi, I just called RMPS and I can say I will give up trying as I'm in the 1-2km. The person told me base on what she see from this morning, there are already >60 applicants staying within 1km. She told me to check the MOE website for the details tonight.

No, MOE website would not give the distance breakdown. Maybe u can call tomorrow and hopefully another person answers the phone, see whether he/she give a similar answer. Else go to the school to see any updates on whiteboards or what.

MOE website don't think have any breakdown of the distance. Maybe tomorrow morning RMPS would announce at what distance don't have to apply.

Just recieve info that RMPS (Not official) had about 60+ in the 1Km range register in the morning. Maybe end of the day they can give breakdown already. :shock:

Those in 1-2Km range may not have very good chance, better plan for other schools like ZDPS where there are 130 places over there.

Haha I stayed there for 10yrs in the 1980s, with RMPS just across the road... it was such a new school then and not hot at all! Should have studied there in order to qualify under 2A now, hee...

Based on the 1Km radius map of RMPS, it covers the following roads

Telok Blangah Crescent
Telok Blangah Rise
Bukit Purmei
Bukit Merah View, Jalan Membina & Kim Tian Road (certain section)

If those out of the outside the 1Km range, the next hottest school would be Zhangde Pri.

To explain why so many people applied RMPS could be many people that stay near to Blangah Rise Primary also target Radin Mas Primary.

Radin Mas before 2000 not hot at all lah! Wonder what kind of school RMPS is at that time. Lucky it did not end up like other primary schools where have to windup & close shop. Eg Tanglin Primary, Henderson Primary, Keng Seng Primary etc etc.
