I am not a very good swimmer. When I was in JC, my ECA clubmates went to Desaru (I had to give it a miss) and when they came back, they had a horror story to tell. Apparently 2 good swimmers were almost washed out to sea by strong currents, but they finally managed to swim back to shore after struggling for a long time, totally exhausted.

Since then I have not even swam in any beach at all - only swim in pools - as I know it can be dangerous. Go beach, at most play a bit of water near the shore.

I am surprised that parents can allow kids to swim alone at beaches.
alot of people underestimated the power of the sea. even now and then there are news of adults getting washed away by under water currents and wadsoever.

I decided that I have to teach swimming to my kids when they grow, when I saw the news that a teen died in the beach. The teen didn’t know how to swim.He lied to mother go somewhere else. Then he went to the beach to celebrate one of his friends birthday party.Really dangerous with water.Life is precious.

Even my kids in playground my eyes follow them.

This is the disadvantages of hightec gadgets.I heard a couple addicted to computer/facebook game. They didn’t take care their baby proberly. Then the baby dead. These all heart breaking news.
