Can anyone give stats for Beacon?
For CHIJ, my friend just went there, <1 can get in but for 1-2 km, need to ballot as 1 more application than seats! Real bad there!!

Hi to all! Wanna share my saddest experience in selecting sch for my boy. I went to Beacon y'day morning and called them to finalise the results. To my disappointment, I went to withdraw my application and re-applied at Greenridge.
I'm located between 1km - 2km so chances of balloting confirmed involved. Basically left only 15 places for 2C (bet 1km-2km). won't want to take the risk and rush like a hot head when balloting failed.

Amazing!!! I think BPPS, Beacon and GRPS all got it and Zhenghua and WVPS lost out (not really as they will get filled in 2C Supp)

Bukit Panjang is a pretty young estate; Jelapang, Jelebu, Lompang etc estate <15yo. With the upcoming (2yrs+) completion of Segar Meadows and Senja Green, in the coming years, competition will be hotter!Amazing!!! I think BPPS, Beacon and GRPS all got it and Zhenghua and WVPS lost out (not really as they will get filled in 2C Supp)
But I'm sure there will be plans for more primary schools next time.

Either that or more seats in existing schools. But with all schools to become single session by 2015, I donno how this is going to be achieved.
