Just came back from registration at NQ.

Balloting for 2C <1km applicants will be on 11th Aug 9am.
\"Lucky Draw\" will be carried out by ourselves (parents). Those who cannot make it for Ballot Day will have the other parents draw for you. Teachers at the school will not draw for you.
So, make sure you wash your hands with flower water and go Temple PaiPai before going down. :lol:

Wow! The staff there actually told you that? I just came back too but was just informed that balloting for 2C will be held on 11 Aug 09 at 9am as you have mentioned. So I guess I will have to go temple 'bai bai' too. BTW, was told the no. of applications as at 3.30pm is 180+ ie. just about 10 submitted today so far.

Who are usually good at lucky draws? Can draw for me? haha.. Wish all of us good luck. Need lots of it. :celebrate:

Dont think AnchorGreen's principal is from Nanchiau.
I spoke to AnchorGreen's principal personally and she was from White Sands Pri. She's very approachable and down to earth, and the kind who will watch the teachers.

Went to AGPS just now although I already registered at NCPS this morning. Just want to look around. Talked to one of the teachers there. He also told me that their principal is from White Sands PS.
Think NCPS's former principal went to Canberra PS at Sembawang since 2008.

Thanks for that update, I was really getting worried with the number of applications there, it is competing with NC and RV in terms of applications for 2C

CVP Balloting was clear yesterday itself!!!

but look at northvista, they have the maximum application in 2C among all Schools in Sengkang 203. only 15 seats left for 2C(S).

There will be 274 children who will not qualify in the Balloting exercise in NC, RV and CV

Same strategy as me. Nan Chiau left 72 places. if i fail, will go AnchorGreen, hope no need ballot there at phase 2C supp.

That makes 3 of us having the same thinking.
Based on past data, 200+ applicants will be applying for these 72 places (>300% TUR). 33% chance only.

Make it 4. But seriously hope there isn't a need to go for the \"lucky draw\" again for Phase 2C supp @ anchor green. Nevertheless, let's all stay positive. Good Luck !!

I just called up NCPS... all the applications for P1 so far are those living within 1km...

Did anyone further verify with NCPS today? All 191 registered NCPS are living 1km???

I changed my strategy of ballot Compassvale and go Anchor Green at 2C supp if fail. Bcos i dun wan to go any other sch other thn Nanchiau, Commpassvale, Anchor Green and North Vista.

Assuming that onlyhalf of 274 unsuccesful applicants who ballot for NC, CV and Rivervale will go to ballot for AnchorGreen balance 79, many will be disappointed.

Phase 2C supp is not first come first serve, it is subject to ballot like all previous phases.

Thus i decided not to subject myself to heart attacks and registered at Anchor Green. i actually filled out the form at North Vista but decided i m not gungho enough, but really need to congrat them for being top in phase 2C in Sengkang. Their openhouse has captured many hearts. And i can connect very well with Anchor Green's principal.

What a day. Glad tt its all over.
