I guess it should be 22 fighting for 6 places last year?
This could be the choice of school for my child in next year \"contest\". -

Hi,
Did anyone read the forum page in The Straits Times yesterday (Sat 29/Aug)? About a teacher who punished P3 girls by pulling their hair, tweaking their ears, and hitting their heads with their Math books. Is this common? shudder -
Luanee,
Can share with me your PV experience at RGPS? I look at the PV application form, noticed that we have to list down the day / time
available for PV (Mon-Friday, Morning / Afternoon).
:please: -

The PV work we did were ad-hoc type, ie as and when the PV committee needed our help, they will send out an email to all parents and we will just response accordingly if we can match the hours. As we are working parents, we chose those that fall on weekends, or those that can clock more hours at one go so as to make our leave worth it. U can pm me if u need more info

read thru all 24 pages at one go and felt all the excitement the parents went through from choosing the school to the excitement of registration. I see many luck ones have girls so there were more "choices"
I have a boy born in 2005, am thinking of moving within 1km of NYPS, the thing is there is a risk, what if he canβt get in even with PV, is BTPS the only alternative?
Would appreciate advice since this thread may not be as active as during registration period. -

There are plenty of transfers from Bukit Timah Primary to the other more \"elite\" schools in the region from P2 to P4. BTPS is a great school on its own merit.read thru all 24 pages at one go and felt all the excitement the parents went through from choosing the school to the excitement of registration.
