The general consensus is that BTPS has low in-take during earlier Phases primarily because of people who stay around the area is confident that they can get into BTPS in Phase 2CS, so they don't mind trying their luck for one of the more \"elite\" schools like NYPS and RGPS in Phase 2C.
Most parents who get into BTPS are happy with their school, even though it may be their 2nd choice. In fact, a number of kids in BTPS \"migrate\" to the elite GEP schools in the neighbourhood schools at Pri 4, only because BTPS does not run the GEP programme. -
if one fine day suddenly BTPS run the GEP programme, then it'll no longer be the Phase 2C supp school anymore, but join the 'elite' category, become a highly much sought after school.
