Hi All, Just to share that it was really a very tedious and stressful experience to be in West Grove Primary for the Balloting for Phase 2C this morning. 355 within 1Km for 118 vacancies. Too bad, our child did not get it :oops: Nevertheless, I still want to congratulate the 118 children who get a place in West Grove.


Hi Mrs Nai, did you manage to get a place in Jurong West Pri? Any advise for me - which other school you think is better in term of academic? Within 1Km, I have Corporation Primary and Boon Lay Garden Primary.

Champion, sorry to hear that, but the odds were really against you. As stated above, I prefer Corporate Primary to Boon Lay Garden Primary. You shouldn't have a problem getting in there given that you are 1km away.

I went to witness the balloting at Jurong West Pri as well. I agree with Champion that this is really a very tedious & stressful experience. 5 parents were invited to draw 20 lots each and the principal drew the last 15 lots. My boy got the last lot! Omg…the feeling was like riding a roller coaster!

Wonder if there have ever been emergency cases due to the stress at these balloting sessions :?:

Hi ctcc, it's really an experience for both us yesterday. Did you put your boy on waiting list? My friend advise me to do that but I think no point lah, so many parents will have that idea. So which is your next alternative? Like to share some ideas?

At first we plan for Boon lay garden n corporation. We change our mind yesterday, goin to register at Juying on 12/8. We like the single session and the cca. My boy is that type cannot sleep late (before 9) n can wake up early. Is seem like you will have more time in the noon.

Corporation Primary is also single session and that is also one of the criteria we are considering. Yes, my girl is also the type that sleeps early and wakes up early so I think it should not be a problem for her. Juying is abit far for us as the school is right inside Street 91. Maybe in the near future, we can share more tips on the academic and thier growing. Really nice to know your thru this forum esp in the Jurong West areas. Hope more people can join in our forum

I am one of the unsuccessful parent of west grove pri sch balloting. So so sad and disappointed. and so angry to myself why i didnt join the West grove pv last year...Now dont know what to do...
