P1 doing P3 is a little too much and too fast.

The rat race is overhelming PLUS P5 syllabus...I'm telling myself, 'CANNOT BURN MYSELF OUT' this year.
Every child is different and for most boys, I expect the maturity to be later.

I think the child will end up being v bored in class, may not be a good thing as sometimes this leads to complacence.. my younger boy is rather competitive, and insist on learning what kor kor does in school.. I always get complaints fr his kindy teacher that he is arrogant, bored and disruptive in class... :oops: n they ask me to slow down... have to pace the child appropriately too I think...

Scary, Iirc, there used to be only 4-6 classes per level.. Breadfish will have to confirm.. so u r right, not many at P2A2.. plus there is no alumni, so no worries at P2A1 also...

Jialat, if PH maintain or improve its standard, 5-10yrs down the road may be like Catholic High last year since the no. of classes went up to 9-10 subsequently (assuming no changes to the registration process).

Haha. . you don't have to worry. My focus will be on my DS's studies too. My main aim is to find kids in the same class so that they can be my spies! Haha. . .Just like I have spies in his kindergarten now. Best to know the parents so that we can exchange info. Kids at this age have short attention span. May miss or forget the information that the teachers want them to relate to us.

I know what you mean, Scary. Let's set up the parents spy network together I may need it more than anyone else because my DD is a day-dreamer! There are many times that we found her drifted to some wonderland of her own. There was once when she told us there is no school the next day when actually there is! *faint*

Haha. . .sounds like me. There was once I was so busy at work that I forgot that DS had no school. Maid took cab and brought him to school only to find that the school was closed. We had a good laugh after that. Couldn't blame DS cos he was less than 4 at that time.
