I am a working mother - I have my maid to help look after my 2 girls....


I find that Boon Lay Garden abit inconvenient because there is no direct bus from our place and I am thinking next time wen they have ECAs or extra classes, then it will be troublesome liao....

Infact when I first shifited in 9 years ago din see many children...But suddenly this year saw many children playing around the round-about court and the playground - suddenly realised that maybe there are many children born in the Horse year (2002)......

So if we are residing in the same area, that means Boon Lay Garden Primary is also within 1 km for you.

How was the registration this Morning? I just came back from Corporation Primary - still has many vacancies. The principal and teachers are all very friendly and helpful. I heard from my friends that Pioneer Primary School is very crowded and "flooded" with many parents…

I have completed my registration at corp sch too. My bus pass by the pioneer school and I can see a lot of parents waiting at the hall there...
I think there is a need for balloting...

My impression to corp sch quite good, big and new, just the distance is still a problem... a lit bit far lah...

Happy to know that you have registered with Coroporation Primary too then next year our children maybe classmates in the same class. Yes, i was also impressed by the school environment and the surroundings - very peaceful and quiet.....

Yes, i agree with you - the distance to walk in is abit far so I will put my girl to take the school bus.

Can any parent share their experience regarding the PV for Henry Park. What are chances of school considering our application for PV if we live in more than 2kms range.


If we don’t get shortlisted for PV, I think the other alternative is to join RC.

If we have to stay within 1km and shift our house, how many days prior to registration should we be living in the < 1km address which we specify in the application. Any idea?

If we apply for PV now for 2011 intake, by when will the school inform us about the outcome? And does it mean that we will have to do PV for 1.5 years, starting 2009 until mid 2010.

I called Pioneer just now and they said the nos of children has exceeded, so need ballot....lucky never go there and try...

I also check the after school care centre just now...there is one Golden link opp the coffee shop - blk 263 there , any idea is it good ?

Or any parents come across this after school care ?
