I'm not sure but based on the sample provided at the PSLE booklet, think is something quite similar (should be easier and shorter) to the short paassge that was always tested in CL Paper 2, 阅读理解，question 21 to Q23.

Noticed ds make error during the prelim chinese LC.That is why start to get worried.

Think may be read to him some passage under CL Paper 2 (3/4 of the passage) and let him do the MCQ.

Also these few days watch more CL show and news?

I just flipped thr the prelim paper, the passage is very very long as compared to the psle format...think I will be sore throat there after...

Thanks for the great tip and now, the stress mode is very high after new discovery...

If the passage is too long then think may be 1/2 page will do.

BTW, the school may also makes use of these few days to give them some training before the actual test.

Usually the prelim LC would be tougher than PSLE LC. As such, please take good care and I'm sure your DS will be able to do well!

For the prelim science papers, do your kids normally get all correct ie perfect score of 60 marks ?

Thank you for your kind words,but really cannot take chance.
Most of his classmate has at least one wrong in the recent lc listening.
DS kept saying its tough.Mid year, he has a perfect score.

More work ahead.Chinese teacher has no signed in doing anything, think prelim over, ROD for the chinese teacher.

Think may be the questions were tricky as such difficult to make choices.

Can understand you’re anxious as this section we usually aim to score full marks.

Heard from DD there will still min. 8 sets of CL prelim papers (from other school) will be given to them for practice before the PSLE.

Think the CL teacher may give one per day or in every two days!

However, the other 3 subjects are still very quiet since the last supplementary class 6/9 till yesterday!

Jeremy can probably come up with another set of prelims paper for sale: Rosyth, NYPS, Nan Hua, SCGS, MGS.....these usual ones are not in the current set.

I've uploaded Rosyth Maths. Will try to get the other subjects for Rosyth.
