ic. i didnt start young, only started recently when she show signs of peeing or pooing. she will pull her shorts or make some noise. so i bring her there to the potty. once she there, she sit for a while and run away. and my husband always scream when she pee on the floor, make me even more stress.

      Just take it easy.

My DH is very particular about cleaniness. But I ask him, do u want them to wear diapers forever? I tell him, if he screams, the kids will be scared and it will be more difficult to train. He cooperate more after that :rotflmao:

Another way is that kids usually after awhile don't like diaper. My DS just one day tell me he does not want it and so it's like trained on the spot heehee. Of course this way might take longer but less drama.

I dun think your kids will wear diaper forever even if u dun train them. 😆
My DD1 stop wearing diaper at 18 mths coz she got very very bad nappy rash. It was my nightmare of clearing urine on the floor n poo on her underwear.
Now my DD2 I learn to use lots of nappy cream n I dun intend to toilet train her until she is ready :imconstipated:

DD1 when young used to have nappy rash easily. Think I used up quite a lot of nappy cream during her time. Now DS2 doesn’t get nappy rash often. I have 2 tubes of Desitin from his birth and both are half finished. Think due to better diapers and DS2 does not drink a lot of water unlike his jiejie.

                    :rotflmao: ya that one

DD2 now use powder. I stop using the cream when she turned 4mos or so.

SAHM_TAN, i heard powder is not that adviseble esp for girl on the buttock… for my girl she seldom have rashes, so not much cream is used … for my boy, his is not rashes, but his buttock hole area always will red red… then i apply nappy cream then ok… i use sebamed… is mild type…
