      Hi Miss_Goldilocks

my girl is at blk 796 ntuc childcare centre… so far ok… no complaints. becos she’s my only child, i’ve no prior experience for comparison so can’t really tell you whether it is good.

Becos her grandparents are working and i’m full time working mother, i have to leave her at the infant centre (since 4 mths old) and then childcare centre (since 18 mths old).

I think proximity and convenience r important points of consideration for non-drivers. Believe me, when it rains or when she refuse to cooperate, convenience is really a plus point! So if u r not driving, do consider those centres near your house.

              Hi Chipmunk,

I have trouble looking for a good playskool or kindergarten in Yishun as well.

Was thinking of Kinderland but the nearest is in Woodlands or Yio Chu Kang. 😢

My elder son goes to Living Sanctuary Kindergarten in Hougang (it's good) but I would like to send my younger son to 1 in Yishun since we are now staying in Yishun.... and am quite reluctant to send him to a PCF kindergarten :?

Does Eager Beaver offer playgroup/kindergarten classes or only full-day childcare services? Also, any school bus service provided? thx :?

              ~ Palm80~

                  Hi there,

How about His little kingdom? At Jalan Lengkok Sembawang.......They have 2 units there......The bigger unit should be filled up by now, think they still have vacancies at the smaller unit. What I like is the curriculum, they follow P1 syallubus and have prepared my gal, K2 for P1. The teachers are strict though, my gal simply listen to them more than me!!

Non-airconditioning and affordable (especially after the increase in the subsidize)

Miss_Goldilocks - basically they do singing, story telling, pretend play, outdoor & indoor games, arts & craft. lots of toys for them to explore. sometimes school will arrange for outdoor excursion.

ceshayne - care to share about their cirrculum? wld be good if u can direct us to their website. I’ve tried to google but can’t find. is it full day? what’s the school fees like? location a bit inconvenient if u dun have a car.

                      Dear Mummies,

I felt that searching for a childcare center is like doing a PHD research, very tedious. I am moving to Sembawang end of the year, hence looking for a CC to place my 3 and 2 years old girls. I have placed my elder one in a void deck CC for about 1 year, but have decided the new CC I put her in will be landed or one with lots of outdoor facilities.
Void deck is very convenient but for the kids, outdoor play is only limited to walking around the estate or the public playground(occassionaly)

I kind of prefer country club more than landed. Some landed looked very run down and caged up.

                      I've checked out:
                      1. Learning Vision @ Republic Poly - Full next year and will not take in new wait list.

                      2. Little Skool Hse @ OCC - Only PM half day avaible. However, I not so impressed as the students are cooped up in the concrete walls, kind of like a high class void deck.

I also found out that there is this new Cambridge CDC (http://www.cambridgecdc.com/singapore.htm) opening in Oct/Nov at Admiral Hill Country Club. I visited the place with my kids last weekend and they loved the big ship and the vast playground. I also quite liked that place as it is breezy and perched on top of a small hill. It is walking distance to Sembawang MRT too.

Anyone can tell me more about Cambridge CDC or Beaver @ Safra Yishun?

                      Thanks
