Went down to busy bee thomson and looked at their materials. The lady at the reception confirmed that they do not cover oral for their compo class.

Their materials are not too bad. But, as i am looking for a compo writing class with oral component being taught, donโ€™t think their class will be suitable for my ds.

Registration is open to non-existing students from 12 nov onwards. Take note if you are interested.

DD is there, but I don't know who are the popular teachers. We just chose the class based on a schedule that suits us.

Her teacher appears very young and meek, and from a short encounter... I wouldn't say that I am impressed. However, she can be quite strict with the kids and even DD can be scared of her to a certain extent... so probably can't judge a book by its cover.

By the way, we are only attending the compo class.

Ya, they only have compo classes, I think.

From what I gather, in P1 they will work towards getting the kids ready to write compo.

@raeshaecheong the first term fee is $520.80. This includes, lesson fee, registration fees, etc. Each term = 12 lessons

Registration starts on 12th Nov and first come first serve.

May I know how long your DD has been with them? Do you see progress? Thanks

I spoke to them over the phone, did not get the breakdown.

They do not follow MOE text books. There's no oral element.

Here's the number for the Balmoral branch, 6733 239, if you wish to find out more about their content. ๐Ÿ˜„

They are closed on Mon - Tues.

P1 classes are only during the wkends.
