hi my gal is in 1S5, brown house. Kind of disappointed with the arrangement too, it was kind of last minute. Only received the letter few days in advance.

Me too received on wed, which so call a week before which to me is pretty last min too, alot of working mum, not easy to get leave at short notice.

I got my letter on Monday-Tuesday, but had already took leave way before. I was informed of the 18 oct registration when we were successful at the 2C balloting, so quickly kiasu went to apply leave Liao lol.

As for queueing for the books instead of online ordering, agree the bookshop should innovate and improve since there are so many working mums and we may not have time to queue the whole afternoon away buying books and name tags.

Since school knw way back but y only send out letter 1 week ago? And not all parent are aware on 18 oct. I heard was know 18 oct need to come down during oct but not sure actual date

18th oct was for parents to submit the forms, purchase uniforms/name tags/books


orientation day next mth... wonder whether hv to wear their uniform or home apparels :idea:

Did u go on that day? Orientation is diff from 18 oct which they hv given out the outline of orientation

Was at the p1 orientation on Wednesday. Kinda boring but really enjoyed the performance put up by the p2 students, especially the part when one of the kids said the wrong 台词 and all the kids giggled on stage. Parents were so encouraging by clapping loudly to encourage the kids to continue with the performance


Btw, do u think it is necessary to get ergonomic school bag for the kids? Don't know if HIPS workload heavy or not, will the teacher keep some of the books in school?

R we allowed to go to d schl (during recess time) to see our child on d 2nd & 3rd day of schl? D orientation list stated only d 1st day. Oso does anyone hv d schl timetable n was informed of ur child’s form teacher? Taut d orientation wasn’t Tat informative, sigh!
