by the way just want to ask . During the orientation yesterday, my girl told me her class only 27 students cos one of her good fren from the same childcare in the same class as her has counted the number of students. It suprise me cos i tot every class has an equivalent of 30 pupils in every class?or maybe the 3 students that are not there may have siblings in school so parents dun think necessary to bring for the orientation? or is it some classes have more children?

I also notice for the class A to C, have multiracial students so moving of classes seem to be there for these 3 classes when doing mother tongue

Since u intend to order online, why not consider by home delivery. Pay a delivery fee of S$7.80 per order, per location. They have weekends, Saturday delivery. πŸ˜„[/quote]

that is one possibility. Haven't tried going in to look at their delivery timing/date although i half suspect it is likely to be rather restrictive timing as well. Have you or anyone tried ordering online and using their delivery service? Is it reliable?

          Hi Larkspur,

I also noticed my DD's class size is quite small. Heard from my colleagues, the classes will combine to form bigger class in P3. πŸ™‚

Trinitee, the enrollment is for a total of 300 students which means total of 30 students in each class.so if there a few classes with less than 30 , that means there are more than 30 students in other classes?

Although less than 30 for our children’s classes, it is good since less students means teacher has less student and students slightly more attention from teacher

hi, my DS will be starting P1 next yr.

i would like to ask if it is compulsory for pupils to wear lace shoes and with NCPS shoes laces? DS very small size and the shoes sold during orientation are too big for him. i wanted to buy from bata, those velcro type, will be shopping for it this wkend.

              re: phonics camp
i signed up DS for it. HB and i tot since he is not taking any eng enrichment so let him go. plus i or my mum will be able to do all the fetching. hope that he will benefit from it.

having some mixed feelings abt starting P1 next yr... ... hope he will be able to adjust. i am the typical \"gan jiong spider\" mother.:P

thanks all.... hope to learn from all of you!!!

All classes should be 30. For those less than 30 students, it could be due to reasons like overseas holiday or happen to fall sick. The orientation date was not make known earlier so some parents could have booked the tour months before hence can't help too.

                    Hi Dombry,

I check with the staff from General Office about velcro shoes. The lady say it's ok to wear them. πŸ™‚ Hope this information helps.

Thanks for the sharing. Maybe will try next year. Just applied afternoon leave next week - so will go to school and get the books. Partly to allow me some time to spring clean the room for the new books πŸ™‚
