      Hi Champion,

Saw you mentioned Elite English Assessment book.

Is it really good to buy? My DD is in P2 and she already has the below:
      1) All in one English assessment by Geetha Menon
      2) Ultimate Grammer, Vocab and Comprehension by Geetha Menon
      3) Graphic Stimulus cloze
      4) Another Cloze book (forgot the name… ayah)

      Pls advise…

        Hi Champion,

I get my son to attempt all the sections EXCEPT OE for Comprehension…not bcos he is good but every passage is different, so I personally find it pointless to get that one done.

When I mentioned Tampines to hubby, he was like, ‘For what ?’

          Hi mother 777,
I bought Elite for P2 and P6 after going through the sample pages...there are diagnostic tests and I think it is useful as daughter's school has tests every 10 weeks.

          I would recommend:
          1) A Cloze assessment (grammar/vocab/comprehension cloze)...either Mastering Cloze or Cloze Practice should be fine.

          2) 1 assessment for Comprehension.
          3) 1 assessment for both grammar & vocab as weekly practice
          4) Elite English.

Any recommendations for comprehension assessment books? My older girl always has difficulty in her comprehension section.

I like the study helpers vocab n comprehension as it is not too challenging but at the same time allow her to practice the skills. We are halfway through the p3 book.

              Thanks 😄

                    HI Champion,

for item 2 and 3, which book you recommend?
I already have the ultimate grammar, vocab book for item 3, should be ok right?

I still need to buy the Elite english as advised by you.

                    thanks.

I have bought the above 2 for DD1 P3 level this year but apparently DD1 prefers the 2nd one and the 1st one only do less than 10%
