      hi Starrenee

You will receive a letter from MOE if your child is in the top 25% of the cohort. However, you will not receive any money if your household income exceed $4000. Thus I guess many families will not qualify for the funds, just recognition that your child does quite well.

When will we receive the letter from moe? Does it mean that if we didnt receive by now, means our kids not in te top 25%?

Can anyone help to clarify that the top 25% & top10% (for p5 &6) is comparing with nationwide or just within the kid's own school? I got different answers from everyone;)

          Hello Parents,

How many sets of uniform are you all buying for the children?

          Cheers,
          Leanne

Depends on how frequent is your laundry.

Buy more PE attire, as school allowed students to come in PE attire during the hot seasons.

Top 10 percent is just among the school, exclude gep.

I.e In tao nan, it will be for the mainstream and Bicep students.

            Rgds,

                Hi,

Does anyone know the basis of how TNS allocates the P2 students to P3? It looks like the top students from each P2 class goes to P3A but what about the rest? What academic consideration is there? How do they assign the classes? How are the top students determined?

                cheers,

                  Hi,

Top 80s will be allocated to the top two classes based on primary two results. They will not tell u which class.

                  Hope this helps.

                  Regards,

You're right. They won't tell which classes are the top 2 classes. From the allocation list I saw, one of the top class is definitely 3A. I'm guessing the other is 3J. But I'm not really sure on this last bit.

Would gladly hear from anyone else who knows πŸ™‚

                      Hi Voltes5,

Just for info, even this top 80s allocated to top two class, there will be changes again.

For instance, after p3 results, there will be streaming again as to bicep, gep, or top two best mainstream class.

                      Cheers,
                      Leanne

Just curious...amongst the top 80s, does it mean that the top 40 goes to class X and the next 40 goes to class Y? Or do they just randomly place them between class X and Y?
