Is anyone appealing to Temasek Sec Sch? My god son has a score of 220 and thinking of appealing to temasek sec.

Hi my DS is putting Temasek Sec as his 1st choice but his score is 229 and the COP for the school is 230 as so many have mention to put the school that you wanna appeal as your 1st choice for it to show commitment in appealing for the school . My elders DS is doing his Sec3 in Temasek Sec thats the reason why my 2nd DS wants so much to be in Temasek..
I am staying in Simei and was thinking to put Ngee Ann Sec(232), Pasir Ris (218), Pasir Ris Crest (220). Not sure what would be the best order though. Anyone have any advice on this? or even any other Better School that i should also put in?Would really appreeciate it.. :?: :frustrated:

Anyone out there who is going to appeal? Did you gather any info from people who had appealed in previous years? I checked all around and did not find much info on this forum or in other places.

appeal is not easy…

in victoria, u get 300 students appealing (it is not even for IP)…and only a few are successful…
preferably, u need to have exceptional abilities (over the rest)…

MY DD did extremely better than expected, DD is a successful DSA applicant.

Yes, we were told that MOE said "No transfer". However, there seemed to be conflicting ground from both desired school and MOE. Desired school indicating
MOE directive while MOE pointed to the school keeping a strict rule this year.
Have anyone suceeded in submitting the appeal form into NYHS. Please enlighten, thanks!
