I buy from Popular also. More convenient as Popular is near us and sch is farther away. Don’t want to lug heavy books back home.

We have never eaten out for reunion dinner before. I have reunion dinner either at my parents, brother or in-laws house.

It may seem unfair that the child left the house early but still late due to public transport. I grumble often due to this too but ultimately late means late and reliability of public transport should not be the reason or excuse, provided it is a mass breakdown which affects many.


What about those who drive? Do you also encounter this when you leave the house so early but late due to car breakdown or accidents on the road, which is not even due to you? I remembered once I drove my child to school. It is just a 10 min drive and we left the house 40 mins earlier. My child was late due to massive jam and had to accept the punishment which is not his fault.

I guess we just have to buffer in more time for incidents like these and if really late, then can’t help it.

Do they sell nice kueh lapis?

I have scoliosis and both my kids have it too. Was told during my time that it is generic and has nothing to do with posture. Was told by another 2 different doctors this year when my kids go to Health Promotion Board.


I had a friend who has bad posture and hunch all the time but she does not have scoliosis.
