Hi, does any parents out there put their kids at Hanlin Language School at Bt Panjang Plz? Is the centre good, teaching methods effective?
Dear parents,
I saw a post in kiasuparents that a parent sent her daughter to C Win Learning Centre @ Jelepang, Bt Panjang which says that her daughter who do not like to learn chinese starts to love it after attending the class there cos their teaching methods are very interesting and fun.
I thought of registering my k2 boy to this centre and wonder any parents interested to join as well. The new sunday class will starts next year 2012 and each lesson starts from 9am to 11am. Wonder any parents interested to enrol their kids to the Sunday class. More kids to learn 2gether will make learning more interesting.
The centre contact no. is 6762 2287.

Yes. Berries for weekend class are alway full. They have their exiting students that have the priority to promote to next level. Even the weekdays night class and all full. So no choice I go for the late afternoon class in Bukit Batok branch which is nearest to my place.

Hi
not sure abt the chinese standard taught in hanlin but my kid was at the same centre but on English programme. I dun recommend at all, wasted almost a year there…the teacher merely gave him worksheets photocopied from assessments books and top sch papers for him to practice. If there was mistakes, just asked them to correct. Din bother to explain unless the kid ask…I should have pulled my kid out earlier but looking for another centre was difficult so I let u finish till he completed the yr end exams. Moreover, lately, i realised the monthly fee is more expensive than the Mind stretcher:<
I tink the teacher is a china lady…u may want to ask how she teaches the class… -

Yes..the centre is always full...i managed to put in my younger one with Berries this year on sat..phew, queue for more than half a year.
My elder one has been with Berries since K2,now he is P3, continuing with P4 next year. tink, he has been with the same teacher since P1. I like the teachers there, find them pretty committed... -
Omg, then I better think twice of putting him at Hanlin. I knew there is one ctr call C Win @ Greenridge Shopping Ctr but also dunno good or not. Haiz…

Before we enrolled my kid w Berries, we went C Win to take a look cos it is juz opp our flat, v convenient. In the end, we din choose C win cos my kid does not like the "look"of the place. Not sure good or not but since the kid does not like, no point going…
I suppose u stay ard BT Panj, you can try Hans Language at CCK. The center is new and I quite like the teacher there, v observant. But we just started a few mths so I cant tell wht it benefits my kid. -
