my only problem after i remove my IUCD is that my mens stop coming for a year..

Removing IUCD should not cause absence of menses.
You should check with your gynaecologist if you do not have menses.

I check with my gynecologist.. they told me its rather common to miss my menses for a year some even longer.. it depends on the body.. Some do hav regular menses aft they remove the IUCD.. so its more to individual..

you can easily go to polyclinic for removal and insertion.. you can request for a female to do so if you inform the counter in advance..

Hi E3nity, have you done it at Poly before? Afraid the trainees doctor will take us as Guinea Pigs.

i’ve got my removal done at polyclinic if you’ve seen from my previous replies… It is not difficult to remove… i believe not all doctors in polyclinics are trainees… There mayb trainees but i don’t think they are allowed to treat any patient yet… Unlike fresh grad doctors, they may not have that much experience… Which doctors didnt go thru that stage? no offence… 😃

I did mine at Poly too, done by female gynae!

Poly have their own womens’ clinic, nurses r very helpful & caring.
Removal fees is less than S$50 (if I remembered correctly)
