        sall:
There are still some 'bochap' students in RV. The P is just trying hard to 'wake' them up. What he is doing is ultimately for the good of these students.

\"bo-chap\" attitude is certainly undesirable and a good wake up call is needed.
During the Sat briefing, I found that the P was quite ok (unlike the rumours which said he scolds and scolds and scolds...). What he shared about parenting was simply logical and reasonable.
He even shared that preparation of A levels starts from Year 4 which is really a strong confidence dose for many parents including me.

Yes, Preparation of A lvl starts from year 4 which I presume is the same for other IPs. On first day of school, dd class already receive good talks from almost all of their teachers. Ultimately it is also acting as a wake up call to those think still can relax. It is good to start preparation early, that is what IP is about, right?

Does RVHS admit ‘O’ levels graduates for their year 5 & 6 for ‘A’ Levels???

                justaparent:
After reading some of the posts here, I am pretty sad to say some parents simply don't know what is going on in RV. Please, get involved in your kids' life by at least attend talks or briefings organised by the school or read the newspapers and get your facts right. Eg, P did not ask those who are getting D7 and below to write letter in advance...fyi, the O level result was out yesterday at 2.00pm.

Hi justaparent, not quite sure who you are referring to :? , but the fact that parents join this forum to share information means that, to a certain extent, they care about their kids, maybe some parents monitor their kids very, very closely, but some believe that letting their kids be independent is the way to go. Nothing to feel sad about.

And we are aware that \"P asked for appeal letters after the release of O level results and not in advance\". Perhaps you misconstrue some of the posts?

Some children may have flair in languages, some may not, but I believe that if the children are willing to learn and the teachers dedicated, they should be able to achieve a decent score.

May I ask any parents who have kids attended the 1st French lesson on Mon?

For iPad2, which type (16GB, 32GB or 64GB) are you choosing?
                      Thank-you.
