Thanks 7788 for your reply 😄

And I have another question may I know what is the difference between the wushu CCA and the wufang wushu enrichment. Any feedback

wushu cca means you are in the school team and can represent the school for competition. wushu enrichment is the same as enrichment classes whereby a child can pay some fee and join as an interest class. hth

Just to clarify, the Wushu CCA comprises two teams - the school team and the non-school team. Members of the former only meet once a week (Wed) for practice whereas the latter will meet twice a week (Wed & Fri). As chowon has pointed out, the school team members may be selected to represent the school to take part in inter-sch competitions.

Last understood is that wushu CCA is no longer offered to the lower primary, only the enrichment programme. not sure what is the case now.

The Wufang wushu enrichment programme is a paid programme and if I am not wrong is conducted in the evening after school (previously was Monday not sure about now). Coaches for the CCA are also from Wufang which is set up by Vincent Ng 翁清海. For the paid enrichment programme, guess they will impart more to a smaller group.
Hi,Chowon,
I am one of the primary 1 mums as well. As I also receievd this form and my son is very keen to join wushu, can I confirm that u mention for wushu cca , it is not applied to P1 anymore. Only for enrichment programe is available for P1. Juz wonder wat other cca is available for P1 as well?

bubbleberry9 - it’s best that you call the school and clarify directly with the wushu CCA teacher-in-charge. as for other CCAs offered to p1s, suggest you also call the school to check.

Not a P1 mummy here but as usual, I will dress my dd up in traditional Chinese clothing.

Usually more lower primary kids will come in traditional costume than the older upper primary kids who prefer to wear PE attire. My p3 boy told me he is going to wear traditional costume to school for the last cny this year and my p5 said he is going to wear just PE attire next Fri.

In my case, the P4 and p5 are going in PE attire as I can not find traditional costumes that fit them. My p1 is going in traditional costume.

Now that p3 to p4 won’t change class and also likewise for p5 to p6, i wonder if the teachers also remain the same for the two years? (hopefully not)

I was told during the morning with teachers session that will most likely be the case. I hope the CL tr doesn't follow through.
