Results will be announce after today , maybe later this wk. DS said all CCA excos will meet this evening to select d sec one boys they have short listed but some sec one boys are short listed by two or more CCA, so d excos will have to battle it out tonite. :nunchuk:

eclair u r most welcome. DS finished the selection meeting at 8.30pm said managed to get most of d sec one boys on his list , really an eye opening event :salute: but dead tiring event, cause it 4 consortium battling for it so started right after sch end.
Hope all sec one boys will get into d CCA they wanted.

Good morning Mum42 - how do they normally inform the Sec 1s of the outcome? Is it via EMB? Will some boys be offered 2 or more CCA and they decide which one they want ? Oh, your DS is involved in the selection meeting? It is not just the teachers only ? Means those holding senior positions are involved as well? I am very curious (kaypoh), if you don't mind, which CCA is your DS in (it is OK if you can't reveal) ? Thanks a lot.

The boys were all informed of the CCAs they got into today..


Oops.. DS got into his 2nd choice CCA.. he asked his form teacher regarding appeal. Form teachers says to look out on EMB on how to appeal.. I have just checked, message not out yet on EMB. :xedfingers:

For parents/DS who are going to appeal for their CCA :nunchuk:


You may have already seen this (EMB).. regarding appeal for CCA.

To appeal for another CCA:
- Go to SALT Centre, PE Office, and collect an Appeal Form
- Deadline for submission of appeal form is 24 Feb (Friday)
- Outcome of appeal will be by week 9.

Meanwhile, DS(es) will still have to report to their allocated CCA till the appeal outcome is out.

Hi Jeannie12 , DS only told me briefly when I picked him last nite that all CCA excos already have a list of boys they wanted , if d boy is only short listed by one CCA then he will automatically post to that CCA but if d boy is short listed by two or more CCA then see which excos is faster n list out why d boy is more suitable in that CCA. Yes, they go by one consortium at a time that why so time consuming . When he reach home , he went straight to bed after bathing without touching any homework :sick:
