Online homework - getting a tablet

Tried using iPad for my kid’s online homework. But the browser is not compatible. I thought touch screen will be easier for young children that’s why I’m contemplating getting another tablet…
Just wanna gather some feedback, what’s good? What r u using? -
From what i underatand, IPad does not support flash, which is common on edu websites. Have you tried using a browser called puffin? It is supposed to work.

Yes, tried iPad too, it does not support some sites. Sticking to laptop for now…
