I have enrolled my daughter to the Kovan branch at the foundation level. She has just been promoted to Launch Pad after one semester. The teachers are very friendly and the staff are helpful and attentive as well. The only setback is the limited parking lot during the Saturday peak hour. Can anyone here pm me for the $30 referral fee? I have yet to claim it, thanks.... :celebrate:

              munchkukie:
              Hi Dino mummy,

She's in book 3 already and they have words like 'gnome', 'though'. Decided to stick to ICR as one of my girlfriends told me that her P2 girl is having good results as a result of foundation in ICR. Anyway the teacher said that she is not concerned with the spelling.
I think Jurong East LCentral is a good branch, already establish. Just check the class size before signing up.

                      Hi

I don’t see any recent reviews on L Central. Considering betwn ICR and L Central also.
My child is in K1 and is not good at Phonics despite having attending lessons.

Any feedback to share? Anyone with kids at the Bukit Timah branches to share pls? Thanks!

                        Hi,

I don’t know about BT branch but my gal attend the Thomson branch under Lift Off programme. She started at age 4 and under the Launchpad programme.
LCentral programme is good in the sense it teachers the kids phonics and blending and soon encoding and decoding which is important for reading skills. Once she is in the Lift Off, since it is a structure programme, they do a lot of reading comprehension, spelling, writing which are all important to prepare them for P1 later.

Can bring your kids for assessment this Saturday and decide from then on?
