Yes I find the comprehension assessment books quite limited, their questions are rather easy compared to good sch papers.

Anyone knows what creative writing books are good other than books by Liza Tan and TAS? I have both already but am looking for more to help my kids for their paper 1.

I would also like to know which books are good for oral preparation. Tks!:)

Don't know if anyone has recommended this Oxford Primary Essentials English PSLE preparation. It's an excellent all-in-one guidebook with a few exercises. It's primarily a guidebook but I've found it to be an excellent resource.

I've also bought the Oxford Primary Essentials English Test Papers. They have have for P5 & P6. They are written by Dr Cheah Yin Mee. The book contains tests for all sections of the English paper.

This book posted by champion is a newer one, I think. The one I have is comprehensive and from same publisher. Cant post it as I am using phone now. Was at popular just now. No promo going on.

For creative writing, TAS's volume 2 of their creative writing book will be out this weekend. Perhaps you can consider it. You can find out more on where they are selling it on their marketplace thread.

Whilst on this topic I cannot praise highly enough the EPH Complete Practice in Vocab Grammar, Cloze and Comprehension books. My DS1 (8 yrs) has gone through P1 to P4, and has learnt rich vocab and understanding.

I supplement this with Practise Your English (see example exercise in link below); a useful supplement to the First Aid in English - this improves his writing ability.

Hi, where do you get this book Practise Your English from? And what is the publisher name? I think that is, in fact, a very good book that I don't normally see in bookstore.
