        1/5 and 3/6.

Just keep remind the children to wash their hands more frequent and a big NO on sharing of foods with friends

Red alert! Now Nan Chiau, North Spring n Sengkang Primary also have some cases.

When many primary school kids get the disease, it is bad news. A few years back, my centre voluntarily closed for two days when we incrementally have 6 -7 cases in that one week.
I think the bacteria must have grown stronger now. Parents, better get our kids to practise good hygiene; esp. washing hands ith soap more often for now.
            God bless you ur children.

                Hi All,

I do agree that the school is trying to make changes and the Reggio approached is rather very interesting & good, but as you guys know that my boy has already got transfered to another school, which I am very glad, however, I was shocked to know that my child has missed a lot, eventhough that in NVP and the new school he's in now, is using 80% same school books, it seems that there are so many things as in the topics were not covered! My child was a bit lost when he came to the new school. Luckily he's quite bright and fast learner. However, I was so worried as too many topics was missed as he was transfered to the new school after March school holiday. So the questions are, how much was covered during his stay in NVP? I am still shocked to know that there are too much gap in learning more important things. So I hope my boy will be able to catch up whatever he has missed.

But I am glad, I made this choice. No more additional $$$ to spend even for Learning Journey, CCA etc in the new school, as most of the Learning Journey, CCA and other additional things is fully subsidised and can use their Edusave. Which means, I don't have to pay additional $$$, unlike in NVP.

Just for sharing this info. 😉 Hopefully, NVP can prove that by the time PSLE, NVP has made the correct approached.

                  To Min_kecik,

Your post makes grim reading on a beautiful Saturday morning… I sense that you are saying that your son has somehow been liberated from NVPS and mediocrity. And therefore by extension those students still at NVPS needed salvation in the form of a new school?
Contrary to your experience, I find the school responsive and feedback channels open to parents. I like it that this school have ECA that most primary school do not provide, like school band and rugby. Also, I have given my son some tests papers from well known schools to assess his standard, he could do it with ease… Perhaps one bad experience should not tarnish the school as such.

                      Min_kecik,

did you transfer your child out at Upper primary level ?
usually it is the (P5, P6) level that parents worried.

Any parent practise Past years p4 to p6 psle exam papers for Maths & Science, from 2007 to 2011?

Did your child attend any extra enrichment lessons outside of school, u coach him at home yrself or tuition? Or you just rely on school core curriculum?

If No, what level & which subject did u test your child on rosyth nanyang papers? Lower primary ?
