gd morning…

It is the last paper, hurray! Next few days…my heart will work harder…blood pressure will go up…and then…start to panic how to help in the next few mths to push up the marks…

Anyway…cant do much now except to hope for the best!

Wanted to ask ard abt the Higher chinese for Pri 5…
1) is the HC conducted out of the school hours?
2) if the kid is still in the best 2 classes and yet opt out of HC, will he/she be transferred out of the best 2 classes or he/she can continue to be in the class, just need not attend the aft sch hours HC class or???

DS said the science paper was tough :faint: , wat abt other kids?
He feedback that one of the kids mentioned that it was easy :yikes:

Strange enough...RMPS does not seem to share the Compo paper results....does anyone know why? :?

I intend to ask the teacher tomorrow. If we don't see the compo results, how do I know how i can help my child to improve?

Also I feel that the school is not very forthright with results.

I've asked the school many times for the quality passes for last year's PSLE results and till now, i have not heard from them. I'm beginning to wonder if Avril Wong was the only kid who did well.

Maybe they are afraid we will go to them and ask for 1 or 2 extra marks to boost our kids grade. :skeptical: But it is not our intention, it is something that we want our kids to improve on.

My friend is supermad :stompfeet: with her son's Science teacher, she complained that the teacher only gave them the Science Practice paper on last Friday and did not even go thru the paper with them. She says it is like throwing them into deep end of the pool and expect them to swim.... :imdrowning:


It makes me wonder if the teachers take pride in their profession or just going through the motions.... :?

I am not qualified to provide answers to your questions but these are my thoughts.

One of my boy's classmates is exempted from MT, apparently. Whenever it comes to MT lessons, he sits in the class and it is up to him whether he pays attention or not. The MT teacher only needs to make sure that the student doesn't disrupt his classmates. This student doesn't complete any assignments pertaining to MT.

So, my guess is that the kid who decides not to take HMT will still stay in the same class.

Perhaps it is better for you to find out from HOD MT?
