But I will be renting near the school as well after my sale. Current place and rental place are all within 1 km of school.

The rented place is just a temporary abode. The most crucial address is your new address as it will be the permanent one, unless you are saying that you will continue to stay at the rented place even after getting your new home.

If you plan to stay at the rented place for the six years of your child's education, you should be using your rented apartment's address.

You should not use your current address.

If the new owner is also using the address to register at the same school, you are the one who will be in trouble because that address is no longer yours.

Even if he is not registering for p1, he won't be happy too. To him, if you can lie to the school, who knows what else you would be up too. Loan sharks? So he might make a report against you.

Use your own address, be it rented or bought.

              Hi

My friend just completed her PV in a popular school and she is going for phase 2B which is within 1km from her current property. However due to financial reason, she had to sell her house and the completion is after phase 2B.

Will her child be ask to leave if they change to a new address after the registration?

if she qualifies under 2B, why worry ?

                  Hi!

My son’s pri 1 registration is in 2015, and we are thinking to try for BTO but it will only be completed in 2016. Can we use the new BTO address for the P1 registration in 2015?

                  Thank you!

                      Dear Parents,

I will like to enquire the condition on the use of Home Address.

                      1. Is there any minimum occupation period before I can move out of the address that I use to register for P1?

                      2. Can I use my existing address to register for P1 as my new flat will only be ready after registration?

Appreciate your kind reply. Thank you very much!
