      vlim:

maybe these gep schools do it with the good intention. Just like MOE believe that gifted kids should be specially nurtured and stretch..so for high ability students , these gep schools and even non-gep schools give more enrichments to further nurture and stretch these students... :celebrate: and we as parents would be happy that the schools do something to nurture our high ability kids to their fullest...
I actually wished that ds's schs will have more challenging prog for him since P1, but again, I do not expect them to do so given the wide ability difference even in the best class. So I just have to keep him challenged at home and not be bored with learning. When teacher was teaching Area and Perimeter, he looked so bored that tr felt bad and told him to make sure mummy expose him to challenging questions...

Having said all these, I'm looking forward to the new prog to stretch and challenge him to greater heights but I'm also told by parents who have been there that it will require hard work and proper time management (very impt) for the child to benefit and enjoy the prog.

Hi all, does anyone know how MOE will be notifying us on the allocated GEP school? I was told by MOE officer that parents will be informed today but forgot to ask her how we will be notified (via email, sms, tel, letter??)… any idea, anyone?

                        Hi

Not sure is correct to post here  ...Anyone can share how many GEP classes are there in ACS (P) which classes are labled as GEP and which classes are their \"TOP\" class?

                        MTIA

Rushing off to another party now - DS2's. GEP classes - 2. Don't think they are differentiated but then again, I'm not very clued in.

Nani. What I know from the preview is GEP -2 classes in ACS. there is no difference for GEP classes. Available is 20 more seats . Is your 1st Choice ACS. I am new to this site. Saw that every one have updated their first school of choice in this site. I am to do now (searching for it now .lots of pages to surf to get it) . please also update yours.
