2009 GEP Screening And Selection

Hi all, does anyone know how MOE will be notifying us on the allocated GEP school? I was told by MOE officer that parents will be informed today but forgot to ask her how we will be notified (via email, sms, tel, letter??)... any idea, anyone?

When I was in school (CHS) at 1pm, I saw the GEP teachers putting up the name lists for P4 (2010) on the school office bulletin board already, so I think the GEP listing should be out.

CHS GEP teachers already putting up the name lists for P4 (2010)? Means that those will be for all or only those GEP from CHS themselves? Which school office bulletin board? Near the general office?

by the way did anybody check the mailbox.....[/quote]Between , My Friends had check with Rosyth and HP (their first choice schools) . School say they didnt get the list yet.

I rang up MOE, posting will only be sent out this evening… so we shld be able to receive the letter tomorrow.


I told them that they shld be more IT savvy and inform us the posting via email…

Me too rang . tomorrow we recieve via post. MOE Officer said the current school already have the school details....I asked 2 times is that so and she said yes.... Parents may try calling current school.

Apologies, I saw tooko a closer look at the p4 listing in my boys' school this morning. It has the full class allocation EXCEPT for the gep classes. But from there, I can see that 7 existing students from the school's current p3 level are going into GEP classes, as their new class has been allocated.

So for CHS, there are at least 7 boys who got into gep. There may be a few more or maybe not, but historically there maybe a few who opt for other gep schools, co-ed ones like nanyang for example, so their younger siblings can enter as well.
