:congrats: Which school did your child get in to...
My son got in to Nan Hua Primary School.. -
Hi Lovemummy,
First of all, congratulation!
For your below question, I have the same situation as yours. I go for HPPS as our only choice for DS1. According to the HOD, once i confirm my DS1 get a place, I can write in to the principal to transfer my DS2 over. Given DS2 is now in P1 in current school, to transfer him over for P2 for next yr, she don't think it is an issue... something like just add 1 place. But the HOD highlighted to me, if ours is going for P1 next yr... then potentially might be an issue... as next yr P1 are on ballot basis... and a little tricky to arrange for DS2 to go in if that's the case. I didn't pursue this further as ours are going for P2, and moreover, we don't intend to change him anyway for next yr.
So write in to principal and appeal for your case.Lovemummy:
I have just gotten MOE letter..luckily I got in to my choice..Can anyone advise me the procedure that I need to follow if I want to transfer my younger son over to the same school..Please

Thx for your explanations, really appreciated that..I was thinking to drop by to NHPS and fill up whatever type of forms that required, hopefully the school will help to process the transfer.Hi Lovemummy,

Alternatively, u can call up the school gep HOD (if u can't get them then u can try calling the school general office to check) to ask about the transferring of your younger son..He/she should be able to advise u as I believe every year parents like u will raise this question.Alternatively, u can call up the school gep HOD (if u can't get them then u can try calling the school general office to check) to ask about the transferring of your younger son..He/she should be able to advise u as I believe every year parents like u will raise this question.

Hi blur-daddy , did you try calling your school of choice (HP) and ask them.... . My Friend say GEP student list will be out at 12:00 PM in Henry Park. Want to go snap shot for the kaisu parents like u who may have HP as their choiceCongratulation to all whom get the letter, and get into your choice school. For us, we only indicated one choice and will await result tmr... today, no letter hor.
This show Mr postman got preference in coverage area one... Will wait till tmr before I go and burn down the post office. I assume once we got the letter and confirmation, just call current school and get back the report book? -

Can try your luck...

Was asking Rosyth's GEP HOD on the chances of my DD to go in Rosyth for P2 if my DS choose Rosyth and can get in. The response was something like this: Don't just because of the sibling, you don't choose our school. 'Our school is popular you know'... so something like no guarantee for the sibling / DD to be able to transfer eventhough DS go in the GEP...
Hence the final decision of my DS to choose CHS. Since DD no guarantee, might as well he go in boys school which DD cannot go also... -

:D[/quote]Was the GEP HOD you mentioned old lady?
The twin brothers case were highlighted during the Question-Answer session by Rosyth Principal as the father (Ang Moh) already write in to them.
Compare to CHS HOD which straightaway gave us her HP no. during the school tour and tell us if any query can contact her (without hesitation)... of course my DS feels more 'friendly'... -

I am very happy that my ds had survived thru the 1st yr of GEP in 'one piece'..and preparing for even more challenging and tough work next yr!!!

Was actually looking at whether can put both my DS & DD into same school beforehand, but was disappointed with the response.
