My DD is P1 next yr. Any idea when is the sch moving to old rjc and for how long? If my DD is P3 in 2015, will she be in morning session at old rjc?

P1 & P2 afternoon session while P3 to P6 morning session. After RGPS moved back to Hillcrest in 2016, it will be single session (ie all morning session).

From my experience with DD when she was in P1 2 yrs ago, the pace was very comfortable, hardly any homework. A fair bit of show and tell, both English and Chinese. Frequent bite size tests but nothing to worry about. Just treat it as a revision of what is covered for the mth.

On the whole, not the stressful drilling scenario that a lot of parents say branded schools are known for. Most importantly, I find most of the teachers pretty prompt in their communication.

                  And oh yes, :welcome: ๐Ÿ˜‰

In terms of work load. Not really. Still manageable. Only thing that she feels is a fair bit tougher is Chinese. But that could be due to her taking HCL now. I have a feeling the teachers went easy on the girls during the mid year exams since that was their 1st exam. The papers were reasonable, no 'killer' questions.
