Hmm, I will go through it with my daughter later.. She was telling me either Pierce or Whitley. Which is better in your opinion? :?Chubbyo:
My daughter is pleased with her results cos she expected her Maths to get a C.. But I'm not very pleased. 213, where can she go? :?
did you have a look at booklet? it's very useful. checkout annex 1a for school banding. Banding refers to last year cohorts' averages of L1R5 subjects for entry to jc and poly. Schools with value-added are a good guide as it means that those schools enhance the \"value\" of the children.
hope you din tell her you're not pleased. Give her a hug and a pat for her excellent efforts.
I didn't tell her I'm not pleased cos I knew she worked very hard. I expected at least 220.. -

Good choice! There's very few schools in Yishun whose COP are around 229...parentof3:
My son got 229. Any suggestion which school to choose? We stay in Yishun
I'm thinking
1. Yishun Town (try my luck) - COP 237
2. Presybatarian High (try my luck) COP 232
3. Rvierside (hopefully can get in) COP 229
4. Chung Cheng (Yishun) COP 230
5. AMK Sec COP 227
6. Yishun Sec (just in case all don't kana) COP 207
please help
You can try Ahmad Ibrahim too. -

The info sheet from MOE lists the top PSLE pupils, but it does not provide the top scores of each school. We are compiling our own little KSP list with the scores of individual schools.
Why is the list different from the official MOE list as linked below ?

Btw, a big thank you to all for your input! -

You can try Ahmad Ibrahim too.[/quote]That school hasn't got any value added since 2007. The standard has dropped tremendously. Used to be the best school in Yishun. -
My girl score 259 + HCL distinction, please advise what are the schools she can consider in south-west location. :?:

(P.S. Why do you have to tell Vikaesh your score?) -
hi, i'm a student from Ai Tong and i just got back my psle results: 267, +3 for higher chinese. my dilemma is this: i've always had my sights set on rgs, but recently i've been asking around and my friends suggest i should go to nygh. family, however, prefers me to go to rgs.
i've recently picked up tennis, so i wish to practice over the hols and join that (or netball) as a cca next year. from what i've heard, both schools have a very rigorous selection process for sport ccas. also, i am better at english, but i'm interested in sciences, humanities and chinese warfare. my friends have applied for nygh, and those who are going to rgs are those that i don't really like.
i'd like to consider some aspects of both schools: the students' personalities, the cca selections, overall school spirit, atmosphere of the school itself and the teachers in respective schools. it would be extremely helpful if i can get some insight from pupils' experiences in either schools.
thanks!
(my mum is very likely reading this.)
