Hi Stitch,

good for you....
I just called the transport co. Sadly, they do not fetch/ send children from J.W to the school. the max they go will be to Dover/ Ghim Moh..
They also have stopped the Clementi location...

sigh..
now... how.... anyone know of any transport co. that can do this bus service...?? sigh... so so demoralizing..

However, i saw RGPS big big school bus at my place fetching a little indian girl...
Maybe one atas school hor...

How come you wanna send your child to Queenstown when you are staying at JW. There are a lot of schools ard JW too.

Hey Stitch,

There are a lot of school in Jw… but my new home will be in Queenstown… but as usual, the BTO house will only be ready in 2015 - in which my girl will be in P2…

now i’m really contemplating if i should enrol my girl in Jurong when she in P1 and transfer to QTPS when she in P2…
Cos i was thinking (more based on my own experience), to move school (and house/environment) and have change of friends and teachers during that intial P1-P2 period… might be too much for her…

Anyway, any other parents out there who have done the transfer during that P1-P2 period whereby the child just enter Primary school… any detrimental effect??

Hi Rose, call the school and speak to the principal, Mrs Chua, directly. She is very open and forthcoming to talk to any parents.


Great school and teachers! No regret sending my children there although we have options of sending them to the so-called \"elite\" schools. Glad we didnt do that. Qtps doing great as well producing top students.

Hi, I’m new here. My kid just got admission into QPS for P2. He was earlier at GIIS so am a bit worried on how he’ll adjust to the local school here. Also we’re at Bukit Timah and its about 30 mins bus-ride away for him…

Hi Folks,


My son is joining P2 from Jan 2nd at QPS. While I’m delighted for my kid’s admission, I have a problem to resolve. The school transport guy can’t pick-up and drop-off my son from BkTimah (near King Albert Park), and after repeated requests he’s made it clear that it can’t be done.

Can you please advise me on a suitable transport operator whom I may get in touch with? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
