Only those offered foreign languages, ie French, German and Japanese are in the top 10%. Those offered Malay, Arab etc need not be in top 10%.Is it true if you are offered 3rd language, you are within 10%?
My daughter only got 237 +2 and she is offered third language too.
Her t score is pulled down by maths, maths has always been her weakness and feared subject. Tried all tutors and ways to take away her fear from maths but i guessed it didnt succeed. -

According to my child's P, top 10% is 250 and above. Top 30% is 230 and above. Is it true if you are offered 3rd language, you are within 10%?

I have been wondering why short form for son is DS ?COP refers to cut of point (admission to the sec sch)
DD refers to daughter
DS refers to son -

DD - dear daughter, damn daughter, darling daughter, disgusting daughter...whichever is suitable at that point in time, lor...but DD nevertheless !!!
The same with \"DS\" (dear son, damn son...etc).
And \"dh\" refers to \"d...husband\". -

The principal may only be roughly correct. My DS got 249 and has all the 3rd languages (F, G, J) + Malay and Arabic, so according to the 3rd langugae logic, the top 10% can be 249 or lower. Is it true if you are offered 3rd language, you are within 10%?
According to my child's P, top 10% is 250 and above. Top 30% is 230 and above.
But of course it should be around 245 -255 each year, so the principal is correct to guessestimate the figure of 250. I think MOE also never tell principals what the score is, so they also don't know.
